Lead Time 2 - 4 weeks

The Micro DeBEE high-pressure homogenizing system combines the homogenizing forces of most other homogenizers into a single instrument:

  1. Before passing through the nozzle, a turbulent flow may be created to vigorously premix the product (like stirrers and agitators).
  2. A large pressure drop upon exiting the nozzle causes cavitation (like ultrasonic homogenizers).
  3. The product, which is travelling fast enough to cut metal, then impacts the end fixture in the Emulsifying Cell, creating a strong physical force (like bead mills).
  4. Shear forces are present throughout the Emulsifying Cell due to changes in relative velocity in the moving liquid.  These shear forces are higher than in rotor-stator homogenizers.

All of the above forces may be adjusted in the Micro DeBEE, allowing for highly customized operation in order to achieve the desired particle size in a highly reproducible manner with minimal passes and processing time.

PLEASE NOTE: The Micro DeBEE requires a source of pressurized, clean, dry air in order to run. See the manufacturer specifications tab for more information.
