Total protein extraction
Instrument: Precellys® 24 Dual
Sample: Mice hippocampi and PC12 cells.
Protocol:
- Precellys® kit : 03961-1-003 (1.4mm ceramic beads).
- Add mice hippocampi and PC12 cells in RIPA buffer containing protease and phosphatase inhibitors.
- Run the Precellys at 6800 rpm, 3x30 sec, 10 sec break.
- Centrifuge: 10000 rpm, 10 min, 4°C.
- Perform SDS-PAGE, immunoblotting with relevant antibodies.
Results:
Total extracts were analyzed by western blot. The corresponding X-ray films were quantified by densitometry.
