Overview

A high-powered, high-performance homogenizer for larger applications.  Suitable for volumes from 2 l up to 50 l (H2O). 

The Ultra-Turrax® T 65 dispersing instrument has been designed for typical pilot plant stations applications. Suitable for mixing, emulsifying and dispersing of free-flowing liquid media in a batch system. Powerful three phase asynchron motor. Other features include:

  • Electronic speed control
  • Electronic overload protection
  • Plug-in connectors facilitate exchange of dispersing elements

The T 65 Digital has a speed range from 1000 – 9,500 rpm and a digital speed and error code display.

Please note that the T 65 requires three-phase, 230 V power.  Dispersing elements are sold separately.  A stand is required unless you have another way to securely mount the unit, as it weighs over 50 pounds.

Is the Ultra-Turrax® T 65 UL listed or CSA approved?

No, neither version has the UL, CSA, or equivalent certification. The only certification these units carry is CE.

 

Can I use the Ultra-Turrax® T 65 with organic solvents?

Yes. When using the standard steel probes, the materials in contact with the medium would be stainless steel and PTFE, both of which have excellent chemical compatibility with most solvents.
